Your website,
made clear.

What works. What causes problems. What needs fixing. Sitodit examines your website and helps you make the right decisions, without being an expert.

To receive your report
How to receive your report

The link opens your report on our website. The attached file is the same report, ready to forward as is; the link stays in the email as a fallback.

You will first receive a link to confirm your email, then your report once the analysis is done.

Understand to move forward

You finally know
where to start.

The audit runs in-depth checks and helps you decide what you can fix yourself or hand over to your web provider.

  1. See what matters.

In the report, security risks and accessibility barriers come before nice-to-have improvements.

  2. Understand why.

Each finding is explained with its possible impact: what bothers a visitor, what exposes the website, or what needs checking.

  3. Get it fixed.

You leave with concrete actions. The report details each finding and can be forwarded as is to whoever looks after the website.

The confirmation checks the mailbox, not ownership of the website.

Your website, reviewed

In-depth checks, plus a proofreading by our open-source AI, running on our own servers.

  • Findings, explanations and fixes

What we examine

Your website is more
than its looks.

The full audit covers eight topics.

Security

Published vulnerabilities matching the detected versions, certificate, and website and email protections.

Accessibility

Contrast, labels, forms: the barriers that automated RGAA checks can detect.

Legal

Legal notices, personal data, cookies, consent and business-specific information. Points to check.

Writing

Spelling, grammar, typography: quoted passages and suggested corrections, to be checked.

Content and links

Content structure, broken links and information that can be found in the pages.

Search engines

The signals that help search engines understand and find your pages.

Speed

Page loading and the resources that can slow the visit down, especially on mobile.

Sovereignty

Where the website and emails are hosted, and the third-party services your pages depend on.

The report shows the audit engine’s scores out of 100, with the scope actually checked. A topic that cannot be checked stays “Not assessed”. A high score is not a certification.

Our method

Your website, seen from the outside.

Sitodit takes the visitor’s side: we open the pages anyone can access, read their content and examine what the website exposes to the browser. We also look at its public technical information, such as the certificate and the email configuration.

We do not enter the back office, do not try to force access and do not attempt to exploit the vulnerabilities found. Nothing is changed on your website.

  1. Observe and check.

Automated checks flag detectable problems: protections, accessibility, links, loading and the information present. The software versions identified are matched against published vulnerabilities.

  2. Proofread and explain.

Our open-source AI, running locally on our servers, proofreads the texts and suggests corrections. The report separates findings from points to confirm.

  3. Say how far the analysis goes.

Each topic states its scope. Internal settings and backups remain unknown; a good score does not guarantee there is no risk. Accessibility, legal points and text suggestions also need a human check.

Why Sitodit exists

Online commerce,
from the ground up.

A website carries the trust of those who visit it. You still need to know what deserves fixing.

Sitodit grew out of an observation by Igor Schlumberger: businesses put a lot of energy into building their website, but rarely have a simple way to spot its problems and keep it maintained.

His path, from LeGuide.com to PrestaShop and then Videomark, has always followed the same thread: making online commerce more accessible. Sitodit extends this approach to small businesses, freelancers and individuals.

A potential vulnerability, an inaccessible journey or confusing information can erode trust. Our role: make these topics understandable, help decide what to fix and make regular follow-up easy.

Igor Schlumberger
Founder of Sitodit, a Videomark service.

  1. 1998

    LeGuide.com

Igor co-founds LeGuide.com to help people find online merchants. Hands-on experience of what merchants and their visitors need.

  2. 2007

    PrestaShop

He co-founds PrestaShop with Bruno Lévêque. More than a million online stores have been created with this open-source solution.

  3. Today

    Videomark

Videomark builds solutions for local businesses. With Sitodit, this hands-on focus extends to website quality and upkeep.

Before you start.

What is free, and what will be paid?

One audit per website is free every 30 days, with no credit card. Reading a report again triggers neither an analysis nor a payment. To re-run an analysis sooner, we are preparing a pay-per-audit offer and monthly, weekly or daily subscriptions. Prices are still to be set.

Why confirm my email address?

To check that you can receive the report and to avoid requests with a wrong address. Nothing starts before this confirmation. It checks access to the mailbox, not ownership of the website.

My website runs on a platform. Is the audit useful?

The platform may handle the security of its infrastructure and its updates. The accessibility of your pages, your texts, search engine optimisation and the information given to visitors still deserve a look. The advice takes the detected solution into account.

An audit was already run on my website. Should I start over?

We first look for the existing audit and its date. If it is less than 30 days old, you receive that report without a new analysis. A new free analysis becomes possible afterwards. An earlier re-run will require a one-off analysis or a paid plan allowing that frequency. Access to the report always requires confirming your email.

Link or file: which should I choose?

The link opens the report on our website, with nothing to install. The attached file is the same report, to open in your browser and forward as is to your web provider. Some mail services filter attachments: the link is always in the email as a fallback.

How do I find my reports?

In My reports, enter your email address: you receive a login link valid for fifteen minutes. There is no password. The link sent with each report also opens it directly for 30 days.

Why might the audit take a while?

The audit runs in-depth checks and has the texts proofread by our open-source AI, running locally on our servers. It usually takes one to two minutes, and requests are processed one after another. Once your email is confirmed, you see your place in the queue. You can then close the page: the report will arrive by email.

What does a security alert mean?

It flags a clue to examine, for example a software version linked to a published vulnerability. A vulnerability is a flaw that may allow an unauthorised action; bots look for them on small websites too. Sitodit uses a local database updated every week and never tries to exploit these vulnerabilities. The version and conditions must be confirmed before fixing.

Is this a legal or accessibility compliance audit?

The automated checks are neither an exhaustive RGAA audit nor a certification. Accessibility is mandatory for the organisations and services concerned; how it applies depends on your situation. The legal part lists information found or not found, without concluding that the law was broken. Its checklist has not yet been validated by a lawyer. See the scope of the RGAA (in French) and the DGCCRF explanations (in French).

Are the website’s texts and information checked?

The proofreading suggests corrections on specific excerpts. A mistake must be told apart from a style suggestion, and the AI’s suggestions must be reviewed. Whether a price or opening hours are correct cannot be established without a reliable reference. A website needs tending like a garden: regular follow-up is still needed, even after an audit.

What happens to my contact details?

You confirm your address through a link sent by email before the report is prepared. First and last name are required; phone is optional. Your details are used to send you your reports and let you find them again; they are shared with no one.

Your next step can be simple.
